Today’s quick minute is about the promise of God to keep true believers from falling away from faith and salvation. We cannot keep ourselves in God’s grasp. He joyfully keeps us.
Do you remember the story of the 7,000 men who did not bow to the pagan god Baal? (The story is in 1 Kings 19 and Paul reminds us of it in Romans 11:4)
If you will read the story and Paul’s commentary in Romans 11 you will see that God kept the 7,000 men true to the faith.
Now, we can be unshakeable in our faith knowing that God keeps us. We need to read the Bible and pray daily. If we were as faithful to that as we are to eating breakfast or going to work, our walk with Jesus would be deeper and richer.
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
God keeps His promise to us. Let’s honor Him with faithfulness.
Thank you, Father, for keeping us in your grasp!
