Our one-minute devotional has three promises that are not just for the Jewish people. This great passage is for you and me, too!
(1) He will stand and shepherd them
in the strength of the Lord,
in the majestic name of the Lord his God.
(2) They will live securely,
for then
(3) His greatness will extend
to the ends of the earth. Micah 5:4 CSB

First, our Shepherd, full of strength and majesty, is still walking with us by the Holy Spirit. Jesus accomplished everything God planned for Him and will fulfill His promise to bring the bride of Christ home. Jesus is the unshakeable, joyful king in this scripture.
Isaiah 9:7 “…The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.” CSB

The second promise assures believers that we will dwell securely in Heaven when Jesus returns, and He guards us here on earth. No evil thing can rob our soul. John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me,
The third promise is proof of God’s love for the world. By God’s love, every nation, tribe and tongue will have heard the name of Jesus, when He returns.
Matthew 24:14 This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations… CSB

So, take heart this week even in the mire of all the bad news. The Promise of the Gospel is still alive. Take Him to your world!
