Luke 17:12-13 “…Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
Our Bible challenge for today is based on the story of one thankful heart and nine who just took the blessing and forgot to say, “Thank You!”
The answers to the questions are linked. Let me know how you did. I hope you will still read the story, even though the links make it easy to just see the answers. Tell your children and grandchildren the story of God’s goodness. But especially tell them of God’s redeeming Love, to those who believe.

What do you think? (answer linked below)
When the lepers first approach Jesus, they call Him master, meaning teacher. Somehow in their seclusion from society, they have heard about Jesus, the healer. But they didn’t understand that He was Jesus, the Savior. Their faith in what they had heard is what led them to Jesus, not true faith in God.
So, here’s my question for you.
When the Samaritan came back to thank Jesus how do we know that Jesus redeemed him, spiritually?

An indication of salvation is gratitude for what God has done. Lost people don’t think like that. The Holy Spirit leads us to awareness of sin, need for repentance, and the knowledge that our salvation is through grace alone through Christ alone, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
