Real Faith
“Why, my soul, are you in such turmoil?”
Psalm 42:5

“…put your hope in God, for I will still praise Him, My Savior and my God.” Psalm 42: 5
One of the most compelling things about Jesus, besides the fact that He loved us and died for us, is His focus on simple things and helpless people.
The Gospel is simple enough for a young child to understand. Matthew 19:13-14

The Gospel is within reach of the truly humble heart. We can ask our great Teacher, the Holy Spirit, to help us with what we need to know. He will!
Reading the Bible is so important, too. God will help you find treasures that you will never forget.

The little book of 1 John (see specific passages linked for you below) answers many questions that are a sort of measuring stick to help you verify your faith.
You can’t have peace with God if:
1 John 1:5-10 you refuse to admit you are a sinner
1 John 2:3-6 disobey God’s laws without remorse
1 John 2:9-11 hate other believers as well as non-believers
1 John 2:15-16 love the world more than God
1 John 3:4-6 do not want to be free from habitual sin
1 John 5 summary
Jeremiah 29:13 CSB You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.
