Election day is just over two weeks away. Many people are expressing fear over the outcome. But believers who walk with Jesus in an intimate way know, there is nothing to fear.
Our key verse is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithful love and care for His children.
God, who is full of mercy and patience, has often used wicked people to achieve His plan for this world. Read Acts 18.
Acts 18: 9-11 The Lord said to Paul in a night vision, “Don’t be afraid, but keep on speaking and don’t be silent. For I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to hurt you, because I have many people in this city.” He stayed there a year and a half, teaching the word of God among them. CSB
Caligula, the cruel Roman emperor, was dead, and Claudius took his place. He expelled the Jews from Rome, unknowingly aiding many Jews and Gentiles who would believe in Jesus through their testimony.
Read the stories of Priscilla, Aquilla, Justus, and Crispus. They are examples of people who met the Savior because of one man’s evil heart.
The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer.
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
I will reward them with a long life
and give them my salvation.”
