Matthew 13:57 And they were offended by Him.
Notice the brevity of our key verse for today. Few words are needed to express the seriousness of this passage.
This verse reveals the hearts of the people Jesus was teaching. But it could easily apply to people today.
It comes at the end of a day when Jesus taught by parables that mystified both the crowd and the religious leaders.
