Say Thank You.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
When you wake up in the morning, what do you think about first?
Kids? Work? A happy occasion coming up? That’s so normal.

But what about God?
There is just nothing else that completes our lives like our Redeemer.
How about intentionally giving your first waking moments to God?
“…whatever is True, Honorable, Just, Pure, Lovely, Commendable, -if there is any Moral Excellence and anything Praiseworthy think on these.” Philippians 4:8
Our majestic Lord is all of those and more. Everything about Him deserves our praise and thanksgiving.
What better way to start your morning than with praise simply for everything He has done for you.
Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty,
for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to you.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom, and you are exalted as head over all.
1 Chronicles 29:11

When you open your eyes in the morning, say, “Thank you, Lord.”
And then, as joys or worries persist, could you remember a simple, “Thank You for being True.”
When you notice His beautiful creation, whisper, “Thank You, Jesus., for being Praiseworthy“

When you settle in for the evening and feel alone, lift your eyes and thank Him. Even in loneliness, you know He felt loneliness on earth.
In spite of your loneliness, just say, “Thank You, Lord. You haven’t left me alone tonight. You are Honorable.”

What about, “Thank You for patiently pursuing the lost like You pursued me.”? 2 Corinthians 4:15
