Say Thank You.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
When you wake up in the morning, what do you think about first?
Kids? Work? A happy occasion coming up? That’s so normal.
But what about God?
I rise before dawn and cry for help. I put my hope in your words.
Psalm 119:147 (WEB)

There is just nothing else that completes our lives like our Redeemer.
How about intentionally giving your first waking moments to God? Just acknowledging Him is a way of expressing gratitude.

But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
Psalm 59:16 (WEB)
Everything about God deserves our praise and thanksgiving. What better way to start your morning than with praise simply for everything He has done for you.
Wake up, my glory! Wake up, lute and harp! I will wake up the dawn.
Psalm 57:8 (WEB)
When you open your eyes in the morning, say, “Thank you, Lord.” You can even be thankful in times of distress, because you know, in your heart, God already has resolved your sorrow. He knows the outcome of every situation. Nothing will happen outside of His care for you. He holds the victory over all things.
(1 Chronicles 29:11)
If you are lonely, thank Him for exposing Himself to loneliness. Jesus knows how you feel. He is with you. (Matthew 4 is just the first recorded time that we know the Savior experienced loneliness). Thank Him for never leaving you alone.
And of course, our redemption is always the best reason to give thanks.
There are so many reasons to be thankful. Just give thanks in all things!
