…before the world began.

John 1:1 Before the world began, there was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
God referred to Jesus as the Word to show us Himself in human form. Jesus was God’s way of revealing who He is to people.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
Our minds can’t comprehend “before creation”, but Jesus always existed. God referred to Jesus as the Word – before the world began.
The Christmas story begins before the manger.
3 All things were made through him. Nothing was made without him.
God and Jesus- Co-Creators.
Colossians 1:16 …All things were made through Christ and for Christ.
God gave Jesus the power to give life.
4 In him there was life. That life was light for the people of the world.

With God the Father, Jesus is both the creator and sustainer of life. He creates our physical existence and designed us to be spiritual beings with eternal life.
John 5:26 Life comes from the Father himself. The Father has allowed the Son to give life.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, values our lives and wants us to treasure them. Accept and love His gift. Make the most of every moment.
5 The Light shines in the darkness. And the darkness has not overpowered the Light.
Our beautiful Savior is Light and Life. No darkness can overwhelm Him or His Children.
Get ready! Celebrate Jesus! The Light of the world!
