“That we may be saved.”
1 Timothy 2:3-6 … Jesus our Savior,… wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For,There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

What does it really mean?
Saved from what?
Our sinful hearts. Unbelief. Death-Separation from God.
Saved for what?
That we might have life. That we may know the peace of God that passes understanding. That we may glorify Christ.
Saved by what?
Grace.
Grace through Christ Jesus.
Grace of God.
Grace born of the very Spirit of God.
Lord Savior , Let Your Light shine on us.
To know your voice in overwhelming darkness.

To know Your grace that saves without our works. To freely forgive others as You forgave us.
Shine on us,
that we may be saved.

And may the Radiance of You, alive in our hearts light up the world around us
this Christmas
and until you return.
In Jesus name,
Amen
