Here is a link to last week’s series on Romans 8.
And having chosen them, he called them to come to him.
And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself.
And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.
Romans 8:30 (NLT)
If you are a born-again believer, you can truthfully say that God chose you. We always have a choice, but the Creator of the universe, who knows all of your failures and sins loves you like He loves Jesus.
God not only pronounced us guiltless, but also perfectly just in his Son.
Look at the excerpt below of Jesus prayer for us the night before He died.
“…as much as You love Me.”

“I am in them and You are in Me.
May they experience such perfect unity
that the world will know that You sent Me
and that You love them
as much as You love Me.”
John 17:23 (NLT)
What I hope you will do this week is read every verse in this devotional out loud and alone at home, then share it with your family and someone outside your home, whether a brother or sister in Christ or someone who needs to hear the Gospel.
With each opportunity to share this, read it out loud. And when you finish reading it, tell God, “Thank You!” Because this is everything for you and me.
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these?
If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own?
No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
Who then will condemn us?
No one—for Christ Jesus died for us
and was raised to life for us,
and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand,
pleading for us.
Romans 8:31-34 (NLT)
Praise the Lord!
Let all that I am praise the Lord.
I will praise the Lord as long as I live.
I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.
Psalm 146:1 & 2 (NLT)

A final thought.
The key passage in this study of Romans 8 introduces the doctrine of predestination, a theology that many struggle to understand. While I haven’t delved into that subject, it’s important for believers to recognize its Biblical foundation. I’ve found an article that clearly explains predestination—please check the link to watch the video or read the concise three-minute explanation, which includes supporting scripture.
