Here is a link to last week’s series on Romans 8.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (KJV)
Seed Basket’s Timeless series ends with today’s passage in Romans 8:35-39. And it ends with hope. The hope that Jesus gives is so much more than what the world offers.
Some think that faith in God sounds hopeless and dark.
Many take verses like the one below to mean that Bible characters and martyrs from centuries ago were the only believers who had to suffer for their faith.
As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Yet people still pay a price for living for Jesus.
Even if we don’t suffer for our faith we still face hardships of every kind
Jesus said, in this world you will have trouble. That means you and me.
But He also said take heart, for I have overcome the world.
Take this deep into your heart.
…in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us
For I am persuaded, that
neither death, nor life,

nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth,

nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from
the love of God,
which is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.
This says it all. Jesus loves you!
If your faith is new, don’t give up. Read your Bible. Pray. Fellowship with other believers.
If you don’t believe, then you just can’t wrap your head around it. But, you will get it once you’ve met my Friend – Jesus.
There’s hope! God pursues you even though you neither love Him, nor believe. So can I challenge you to look for Him?
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
If you know Him, then tell your world about Him. His Light is everywhere!

King James Version (KJV)
