“Everyone…who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the Rock. “

“Stone of help”

This Rock is faithful and true. Read Deuteronomy 32. It is the Song of Moses. Every word of the song was given by God.
God wanted Moses to teach this song to the Israelites as a witness against their anticipated rejection of Him, and proving God’s patient faithfulness and the consequences of sin.
God is preparing to keep His promise to the Jews. Amid suffering and persecution, He always watches over Israel. He has a plan for their future.
The Gentiles have been so blessed to be brought into this offer of redemption, too. God has made a way for every person to find Him.
And so, every soul has to make a choice.
“Everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t do them
will be like a foolish man
who built his house on the sand.
The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house;
and it fell—and its fall was great.”
Matthew 7:26-27 (WEB)

The Rock: his work is perfect,
for all his ways are just.
A God of faithfulness who does no wrong,
just and right is he.
