“Be still and know that I am God!”
Psalm 46:10
God is saying-
Stop the chaos – be aware that I am everywhere, I know everything, I Am all powerful, holy, loving, good and faithful. I never change or disappear.
“I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.

The Psalmist hushed at the end of verse 9.
Then, God spoke.
This weary, frightened, faithful servant was stilled in his heart. And he heard the voice of God- “Be still…I Am God.”
Before God spoke those words, the faithful servant believed. He counted on the God of grace. You see it in verse 1.
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
