“For I am not ashamed of the gospel…”
Romans 1:16 (NASB)
We often talk about those we love, because they bring us joy and make us proud. Many people include their children, spouses and best friends in this group.

But what about Jesus?
My sister and I exercise at a local gym most days, often discussing what we learn in the Bible and mentioning Jesus. And though it’s not our intent, others hear about Jesus in some way as we talk.
We aren’t discussing Jesus to be preachy or superior. He’s our best friend and He shines in our lives. The Spirit is with us whether we are together or apart, flowing from grateful hearts.

So, what are the benefits of loving Jesus unashamedly but humbly before others?
Let’s deconstruct the key verses and find out.
For it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes,
The way we came to know Jesus by faith through the Spirit of God, is how we can share that same powerful message wherever we go. The power isn’t ours, but God’s.
to the Jew first and also to the Greek (Gentile).
God’s saving grace is for everyone, everywhere in the world.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith;
As we grow to know Him more our faith grows. But we are redeemed once and for all time.
as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
And the power of that faith is how believers live in this world.
