Believers know this:
For His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what He has made.
The world…
As a result, people are without excuse. For though they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became worthless, and their senseless hearts were darkened.
Romans 1:21
Have you ever stopped to really think about how to glorify God? Sincerely devoted believers want to bring glory to God. Actually, I believe truly born again believers desire to glorify God.

But sometimes a word becomes common. We get so used to hearing a word that it’s meaning seems to diminish.
Today we will start a journey to consider how to bring glory to our God, one thought at a time. By the end of the next few weeks, we will have a plan of action to commit to glorifying our God, Creator and Savior.
Confessing Jesus as Lord.
Confessing Jesus as Lord is the first step a believer takes when the Spirit leads you to repentance. And this is your first chance to glorify God.
That’s right, God is glorified when a person is born again.
every tongue will confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:11 (CSB)
.

God loves Jesus with an intensity that you and I cannot understand. But boy do we benefit from that love. That love is for us, too. But it requires us to confess God’s Son as Lord of our lives. In that way we find redemption and bring glory to God, our Savior.
Take a look at these passages:
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another,
in accord with Christ Jesus,
that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you,
for the glory of God.
Romans 15: 5-7 (ESV)
Our first way to bring glory to God?
Confess Jesus as Lord.
