To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:20
Here is a link to last week’s series, A Resolve to Glorify God- Confess Him.
First of all, I want to say a special thank you to Eli Searcy for the beautiful, featured photo today. Isn’t that gorgeous?
That is a shot of Emerald Bay at Lake Tahoe. And it is just in time to enhance our series about the ways we can glorify God.
You know, sharing the photos you take of God’s great creation is a wonderful way to glorify Him. Appreciating and caring for God’s creation also brings glory to Him. And that is easy to do because His creation is glorious!
But there is a way of bringing glory to our Maker that is not always that easy. Yet, every devoted believer chooses to do it.
I am talking about making the intentional choice to glorify God regardless of the personal cost to yourself as a child of God.

Now, don’t get me wrong. It has nothing to do with earning salvation. You know what Scripture says about that. Redemption is always, only ever freely given and freely received.
You have been saved by grace because you believe. You did not save yourselves. It was a gift from God.
Ephesians 2:8 (ICB)
But our walk with the Savior is a commitment that is deeply personal and yet not private. It is meant to be lived with humility and without compromise—fearlessly.
Be unshakeable. Glorify God with resolve. There should be no wavering or peering into other belief systems for comparison.
What could the potential cost be to a believer who brings glory to our God?
Well, some believers may lose personal relationships, wealth, or careers. But it can also be about making simple daily choices like being honest. It can take great courage to be honest because honesty can expose you. However, honesty glorifies God.
Walking apart from the world isn’t easy. Jesus told us that it would not be. But He left us with the Spirit of God living in our very souls. He prays for us, teaches us, loves us, corrects us, and so much more.
God deserves all of the glory we can give Him. Just look what He freely did for all who believe:
God will accept us also because we believe.
We believe in the One who raised Jesus our Lord from death.
Jesus was given to die for our sins.
And he was raised from death to make us right with God.
Romans 9:24-25(ICB)

if you eat, or if you drink, or if you do anything, do everything for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (ICB)

Another important post; if others aren’t liking it, that is a sad testament to the state of things. Thank you for writing.
