Here is a link to last week’s series, Just a Minute!
“My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples.”
John 15:8 (CSB)
One way every believer can glorify God is by exhibiting spiritual fruit in their lives, and that is what Seed Basket explores today in this series. The Spirit living in believing hearts produces evidence of a changed life—fruit.
Of course, there are many passages in the Bible that define spiritual fruit. Probably, the one most familiar to you is found in Galatians 5:22-23 (CSB)
But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control…

Take a look at just a few of the other scriptures I found. Many of these will be familiar.
“… I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain…”
John 15:16 (CSB)

…be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:11 (CSB)

… walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God…
Colossians 1:10 (CSB)

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light— for the fruit of the light consists of all goodness, righteousness, and truth— testing what is pleasing to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:9 (CSB)
