My apologies, Seed Basket readers.
I posted a devotional this morning with an error that needs to be addressed. I have corrected it, but for those who read it and may have missed the error, I don’t want you to believe something that is not true.
Just a Minute! (Corrected Link)
Genesis 40 (Story of Joseph the Cupbearer and the Baker)
I stated that Joseph actually helped the cupbearer get out of prison, which, of course, he did not. What I meant to say was that Joseph helped him endure the remaining time he had left in prison because of a dream Joseph had about the cupbearer’s life.
God gave Joseph two dreams. One was for the baker and the other for the cupbearer. Unfortunately for the baker, his outcome was not good. But the cupbearer was released from prison soon after Joseph’s interpretation and he was restored to service, unharmed.
The error was only a one-line reference in the entire devotion this morning. But to me, it is important to handle all of God’s Word exactly as it is presented in scripture. That should matter to every believer.
Always check every blog, sermon, or teaching against the Word of God. I provide links to every Scripture I mention for your convenience.
I do not take Seed Basket Devotional lightly and would never intentionally mishandle the Word of God. Somehow, I overlooked this misstatement in my proofreading, and hopefully will do a better job in the editing process going forward.
Thank you for reading Seed Basket, but mostly, thank you for sharing the Gospel in your world!

How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of the messenger who brings good news,
the good news of peace and salvation,
the news that the God of Israel reigns!
