For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: And the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
Peace.
Believers know that Jesus came to bring peace, right?

Well, if you read scripture that isn’t an accurate statement. Take a look.
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”
Matthew 10:34 (KJV)
Jesus meant that for those who choose to follow Him, that very decision will cause division, conflict and the very antithesis of peace. Belief in Him has caused extreme conflict, persecution and death.
Belief in Christ has even separated families. (Matthew 10:34-36)
But the fact remains that believing in Jesus cannot rob peace.
Jesus is forever and always will be the Prince of Peace. He is the Prince of Peace in the hearts and in the lives of every professing man, woman and child.
The peace that Jesus gives to His children is not diminished by human emotion. Just because we go through long stretches of gripping fear or just the unknown, true believers know the Prince of Peace won’t leave.

They also know that our Prince of Peace has walked in the place of cold darkness. They know that He has been utterly left alone, even by God. (Matthew 27:46)
He knows their grief. And they find Him in their grief. Jesus doesn’t even leave believers in their shame. He restores them at their very lowest points.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Psalm 23:3
The Peace you are searching for will never be found in this world. It is only found in Jesus. He reminded the disciples of this.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33 (KJV)
The Prince of Peace.
Jesus.

Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27 (KJV)
Share the Gospel in your world.
Isaiah 52:7
King James Version (KJV)
