John 1:6-9 There was a man sent from God whose name was John.
Imagine for one moment that you were chosen by God to tell the world about Jesus.
Would you go?

He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.
Think it through. It requires you to trust Him with everything you call yours…
Mostly, your heart.
He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light.
John’s story is not about John.
He was not seeking attention. No wallet full of money, family photos or credentials.
No accolades.
What about you?
Would you let God hold your dreams, ambition, wealth and family?
Your full focus and attention given to tell the world the Gospel story that would save so many lives.
The True Light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
John was tasked with the mission to bear witness in a lost and hurting world.
Born to tell depraved, hateful sinners- like himself…
about Jesus.
You see, to John it wasn’t about his righteousness or courage.
He knew, without the Messiah and His grace, he would be lost, too.
John needed the Savior.
Have you realized your own need for Him?
If, like John, you have been redeemed, are you willing to tell others?
Would you step out of the limelight long enough to tell the dark, lost world…
about the Light of the world?
Matthew 5:14-16
What if it were you?
Well, believer…
it is.
Preachers.Teachers. Missionaries.
And some whose only title is son or daughter of the Lord Jesus Christ.
What will you do about Jesus this Christmas and beyond?
Matthew 28:16-20 “Jesus said, “Go and tell…”
Acts 1:8 “…you will be My witnesses…”
Acts 8:4 “… preaching the word.”
Romans 1:16 “I am not ashamed…”

2 Timothy 1:8-14 “..He saved us and called us with a holy calling. .”
