I will establish my covenant with you, and you will know that I am the Lord, Ezekiel 16:62
Seventy-two times.
That’s how many times God says, “…you will know that I Am the Lord…” in the book of Ezekiel. I counted.
This Old Testament book highlights the devastation of the rejection of God by the Hebrew people, who openly offended Him and remained unfaithful despite His efforts.
You can’t live your life enamored with two belief systems. The Hebrews are living proof.

As their rebellion deepened the chasm of separation, their suffering intensified. God reminded them through His servant, Ezekiel, “…you will know that I am the Lord.”
Later, the Psalmist shares his view of God’s goodness, always making us “be still-and know that He is God.”
Take a look:
Come, see Yahweh’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
“Be still and know that I am God.” I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.” Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.
Psalm 46:8-11
