This week our we will focus on Romans 8: 11-13.
Isn’t it fitting that just two weeks before Easter, our group will memorize this passage about the resurrection? After all, Romans 8 is the Gospel. Easter gives us the joy of sharing that Good News.
What a great way to prepare our hearts for the celebration!
Our memory verses for this week explain the Holy Spirit’s power to raise Jesus back to life and the power He displays in the lives of believers.

Because of the Holy Spirit, alive in you and me, believers don’t have to live under the domination of the flesh.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
