It is this—Christ’s sacrifice for us completely fills the deepest need, not just for redemption, but for the oneness with Him that comes from being His child. It is the most unique and precious bond that can ever exist.
This is how we can know God, the Father.
So, truly committed believers want to surrender every word, thought and deed in honor of what Jesus did.
For it is love that I seek, and not sacrifice; knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
