Like water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man. Proverbs 27:19 (WEB)

Today’s Bible Q & A was inspired by my daughter. Thank you Sarah.
As a parent I know sending kids back to school is a challenge. Moreso now. But God gave teachers, moms, dads and kids all the tools they need to be successful, patient and at peace.
When believers honor God by keeping His rules, life is not free from trouble, but it can be more satisfying. Honoring God’s rules also allows believers to model their faith without preaching at people.
Todays Q & A consists of 3 challenges. Why not include your kids?
The answers are linked in the list
Justice, Mercy, Humility , Faith

For further discussion with your kids, think of some ways that keeping the Ten Commandments can add Godly character to your life.
Here is an example.
When you determine to keep the commandment that says, “thou shalt not lie”, not only will you be known as an honest person, but you will also be known to be courageous. Why? Because sometimes it takes courage to be honest. When you’re faced with having to admit making a mistake, if you tell the truth and own up to it everyone will know that you are not a coward. They will know that you are willing to be honest no matter what the cost.

You can use the same approach when talking about the new Commandments that Jesus gave. The Commandments that Jesus gave did not make God’s Ten Commandments irrelevant, it completed them.

And when talking about the scripture found in Micah, this is a great passage to help children understand about the importance of realizing that the world is neither fair nor just. But they can be just, and merciful, and they can be content when walking with God.

I hope you all will have a great 24-25 school year! Be sure to include Jesus
