1 Timothy 1:5 Now the goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.
For today’s Q&A, we’re focusing on kids’ questions. Today’s question sent to Seed Basket is a tough one, even for experienced Christians to answer or understand.
Nicholas shows great insight with his question.
Nicholas, age eleven. “I don’t understand how the Spirit of God lives in my heart or what all He does. I just believe that He does live in my heart and that He has an important job.”
Nicholas, this is a mysterious concept for people to understand. But the way you asked the question holds part of the answer.

You said you don’t understand, but you have faith, and that’s what matters.
The kindness of the Holy Spirit is helping you believe in God, despite your lack of understanding. Romans 2:4
As you learn more about God, you’ll see that the Holy Spirit tells you things through God’s Word.
He is always with you and all believers by helping you understand Him in your soul and mind. He doesn’t speak audibly, but you will know more in your life with God.
He helps you know things that are important for believers to understand.
God gave us the Holy Spirit to help us learn about God as the Father, Son, and the Spirit.

This is the Internet. Bad people could trick you into purchasing things or seeing inappropriate content. Please read this with an adult that you can trust.
Your mom and dad can help. They will be sure that you are safe. You can search for the answers.
Take your time reading this. You might read just one or two verses each day.
Consider keeping a notebook for your thoughts or questions. If mom and dad don’t have answers, then speak to your Sunday School teacher or the preacher at your church. You also may find meaningful verses to record in your notebook.
I hope you will love learning more about Gods Word.
To start with, the Holy Spirit is a person. He is equal to God and to Jesus. He has a definite role to fulfill in the lives of each believer. John 14:26

You hear the Holy Spirit referred to in many different ways, like a Helper John 15:16-17, Teacher, Counselor, Friend Comforter John 14:26-27, and Breath of Life Genesis 2:7
He is our Conscience Romans 9:1 when we sin.
The Holy Spirit gives us hope, joy and peace. Romans 15:13-14
He warns about sin or temptation. Galatians 5: 16-17
He warns us about things that are not sin. Those include warnings about avoiding physical danger, mistakes that would harm us, or people who would be bad influences.
The Holy Spirit will tell you anything that you need to know John 16:13
The Holy Spirit prays for us. He tells God what God already knows about us. This is because they have the same mind and already agree.
They know everything about you. That just makes perfect sense, because, after all, you were created by God. Psalm 139
He is responsible for your birth into this world. He was also responsible for your rebirth. Titus 3:5
He teaches us how to use our Spiritual Gift. Of course, He first shows you what your Spiritual Gift is. One example is being kind.
The Holy Spirit helps us love others, no matter how hard it may be. The reason is because God’s love is not like our love. Our love depends on how others treat us. But God’s love depends on perfection. He is always perfect. His love is the purest love. Romans 5:5
1 Corinthians 2:10-11 But God has shown us these things through the Spirit. The Spirit knows all things, even the deep secrets of God. It is like this: No one knows the thoughts that another person has. Only a person’s spirit that lives in him knows his thoughts. It is the same with God. No one knows the thoughts of God. Only the Spirit of God knows God’s thoughts.
