Here is a link to last week’s series, A Light for My Path.
What a blessing to see more faithful believers joining this small endeavor each week. I am grateful for each of you and pray for you daily.
I hope that you will continue to memorize God’s Word with me and be sure to share with others in your world.
Paul’s message continues to show the stark contrast between those on the inside and those on the outside.
You can see how sin creates a cold distance between people and God. But that’s not what God wants. He desires a loving, close relationship with His creation.

Paul uses the word enmity to show how serious man’s rebellion against God is. Enmity means being openly hostile or rebellious against someone or something.
When it comes to salvation the consequences are the difference between life and death.
When we are sharing the Gospel, it is important for people to understand that man’s rebellious hostility and sin is creating the separation between themselves and Holy God.
But the good news is that God doesn’t want to end the story that way. He gave us a priceless Remedy-His Son.
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
2 Corinthians 9:15 (NKJV)

Here is our passage to memorize for this week:
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Romans 8:6-8 (NKVJ)
By studying this passage do you understand that you have the security of walking in joy and peace?
Or do you realize that you live with a chasm of sin between yourself and the Lord?
God’s mercy provides a freedom that you will learn more about as we dive deeper into Romans 8.
Share the Good News in your world!
