“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Matthew 5:10
Are you courageous?
Some believers serve God where Christianity is unwelcome. Some are even serving where their faith could cost their lives.
Recently, even democratic societies have enacted laws that make it unsafe for believers to share the Gospel. There are threats of legal consequences and the loss of religious liberties. Even personal freedoms have been robbed when faithful followers obey Christ’s Great Commission.
Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
2 Timothy 3:12

What should believers do?
… I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith, that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death,
Philippians 3: 8-10
We each need to decide in advance how we will respond when our faith is tested. We must choose between sharing the Gospel and playing it safe.

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various trials,”
James 1:2
How can we be joyful?
Because we know this- John 3:16-17
