Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
James 3:13
This verse conveys vital instructions for believers. We must show spiritual wisdom in our lives.
That wisdom is first realized when we give our heart to Jesus. Then we display Christ-like humility and grace with courage and spiritual strength.
James understood this important lesson after Jesus’ resurrection. He had rejected Jesus until then.

Did you read how James identified himself? He didn’t elevate himself as the Savior’s earthly half-brother, although he was.
James humbly shows us that he had as much need for the Savior as anyone.
Every day, choose godly wisdom, good conduct and humility. Those attributes are not indicative of weakness.
Without the Spirit of God we resemble our Adversary.
But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
James 3:14-16
Live for Jesus!
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
