Suggested memory verses for this week – Psalm 25:4 & 5
Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
A great way to help you memorize the verses for this week is to make them a personal prayer. You can simply say the verses out loud or in your heart. Or you can take each phrase and pray specifically as these thoughts relate to your life.
Maybe you are a new believer, and praying still feels forced or awkward. All believers have to grow in Christ.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 3:18

I will never forget the day when it dawned on me that I was just talking to Jesus like He was right there-like an old Friend. I was 57 years old when that happened. I had been a believer for fifty years.
It could be that you have been a follower of Christ for many years, but you feel spiritually dry. This passage can help you rediscover that close bond with the Lord.
And if you are a devoted Christian who loves discovering treasure in God’s Word, then this is for you, too.
“Show me…teach me…lead me…”

We can know God better when we read about all of His attributes and how He worked through the lives of many people whose stories are displayed in the Bible. We can know more about Him by looking at His creation, enjoying fellowship with other believers and by obeying and cherishing His moral law. His attributes are on full display.

Although there is only one way to salvation, there are many ways to see God’s majesty and power. The best place to start is by knowing and loving His Son, Jesus.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6
