But I enter your house by the abundance of your faithful love; I bow down toward your holy temple in reverential awe of you. Lord, lead me in your righteousness because of my adversaries; make your way straight before me.
Psalm 5:7 & 8

Have you ever given much thought to how you attend Church? You know, where is your heart and mind on any given Sunday morning?
For most people, Sunday mornings are rife with chaos, sleepiness, and various difficulties. Don’t assume that is coincidental.
Sometimes, the chaos is a result of poor planning or simply the typical demands of life.
I also think these distractions can be deliberate. Our adversary would impede our worship of God and our spiritual harm.
If we don’t prepare our hearts and minds for worship, well in advance of Sunday, then we will be prone to either skip Church or attend with ugly attitudes, apathy or with unconfessed sin.
For believers, the Spirit of God always lives in our hearts. When our daily lives glorify God, then Church attendance will naturally reflect our reverent devotion to our Lord.

“…For we are the temple of the living God, as God said: I will dwell and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
2 Corinthians 6:16
