This week’s memory verses are Hebrews 10:23 & 24
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
Hebrews 10: 23 & 24
Below are two questions that, at first glance, may appear to state the same thing. But can you spot the subtle difference?
1. Why does Jesus sit at the right hand of God’s throne?
Because “it is finished!” Everything necessary for our redemption is complete. (John 19:30)
2- Why does Jesus sit at the right hand of God’s throne?
Because this shows the power and authority that belong to Him. Jesus is victorious over all His enemies-sin, death, and Satan. The scripture tells us that His enemies will be His footstool. (Matthew 22:44)

What is left for believers to do? Our memory verses hold the key.
“Draw near….keep close…hold fast…“
“Encourage one another to love and good works and fellowship in the company of one another.”
Hebrews 10:23-24
With the help of the Holy Spirit and trusting in God’s faithfulness, we can live in this victorious way. Jesus has set us free, and now we have His majestic power and love to strengthen us as we grow to be more like Him.
For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Hebrews 10:14

So, why would believers ever accept all of these loving promises and distance themselves from a right relationship with God?
Draw near to Him. God is faithful.
But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us, for after He had said before,
“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord:
I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds,
“Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
Hebrews 10:15-17
