When I first began writing the Seed Basket Devotional, it never occurred to me that my readers might want to know what my statement of faith is.
That was a regrettable oversight. Believers should verify any resources that claim to represent the Gospel of Christ.
The best way to validate the accuracy of what you read or hear about the Gospel is to read your Bible.
I believe that as Christians, we should know what we believe about God. This knowledge is not only vital for our spiritual growth but also important when sharing our faith with others.
Every future blog post will contain a link to my Statement of Faith.
For clarity, I have chosen the “Statement of Faith” from the Southern Baptist denomination, as I am a member of this faith, and it aligns best with my beliefs about God.
However, I am most concerned about being identified as a follower of Jesus or a Christian than I am about being affiliated with the Southern Baptist denomination.
