After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!”
“Here I am,” he answered.
Have you ever felt God’s call upon your life to serve Him? You should have. If you are truly born-again God calls each one of us to take up our cross and follow the Savior.
Serving Jesus, far from home.

For some, that may mean true sacrifice, like serving on a foreign mission field, pastoring a church, or mentoring young people in the faith.
For many of us, there are practical ways that we are called every single day to serve our Lord.

Like Abraham, when God called, did you respond similarly? “Here I am, Lord.”
Unless you deepen your personal relationship with God, you will miss out on the joy of serving Him.
Below are some examples of great heroes and heroines of the faith, who never looked back. God called and they answered, in one way or another, “Here I am.”
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
Wherever He leads me I will gladly go.

“…But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

“…After that, I will go to the king even if it is against the law. If I perish, I perish.”

“See, I am the Lord’s servant,” said Mary. “May it happen to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her.

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me—nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

Find your place of service to Jesus in this hurting world-
and go!
