The Love of God
When years of time shall pass away
and earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
when men who here refuse to pray,
on rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so pure shall still endure,
all measureless and strong;
redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
the saints’ and angels’ song.
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure:
the saints’ and angels’ song!1

A Psalm of David –
God is our hope and strength, and help in troubles, ready to be found.
Therefore, will not we fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains fall into the midst of the sea,
Though the waters thereof rage and be troubled, and the mountains shake at the surges of the same. Selah.

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
Psalm 46
God loves all of mankind. He pursues people even when they hate Him. He sent His Son, Jesus, to cover our sin with His precious blood. Don’t hold onto the rage of hatred and animosity. Hold onto the promise of God’s grace.
