Is your faith real?
A Spirit-inspired passage from Paul’s second letter to Timothy can help you know.

As you read through the list from 2 Timothy 3, jot down what behaviors apply to you. Confess and repent of known sin. And simply start over.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1
- Lover of self (narcissistic, selfish)
- Lover of money (greedy)
- Boastful
- Arrogant
- Blasphemers (If you blaspheme God’s name then you are not a believer. Blaspheme is forgiven by repentenance and confessing Jesus as your Lord, and Savior) *
- Disobedient to parents
- Unthankful
- Unholy
- Without natural affection (sexual behaviors that are in defiant opposition to God’s design)
- Unforgiving
- Slanderer
- Without self-control
- Fierce
- Not lovers of good
- Traitors
- Conceited
- Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
- Holding a form of godliness but having denied its power (professing faith but showing no evidence of faith-living opposed to God)

Here is what true believers should look like-
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control…”
Galatians 5:22 & 23
